We were appointed to clean, restore and redecorate all elevations of the Grade II listed India House, built in 1930. The home of the High Commission of India, the building hadn’t been renovated for many decades and the stone work was in much need of a clean.
We applied a Kemper roof overlay and waterproofing system to provide a tough, durable and watertight surface to the roof and feature balconies, which is certified in excess of 15 years.
To bring back to life the stone features and carvings, we applied the Doff system to the stone work. We repaired the glazed roof tiles and cleaned away many years of atmospheric dirt and traffic grime.
We also renovated two lightwells and meticulously redecorated the two decorative plaques on the front of the building.
